About Ellie Jones

After graduating from The University of Birmingham in 2003 with a degree in law I began my career in the public sector as a graduate town planning officer in local government.  During this time I undertook further studies at Oxford Brookes University before graduating with an MSc in Spatial Planning in 2006. After working as an area planning and monitoring officer in local government I embarked upon the next stage of my career when I joined a team of planning law specialists working within the private sector. I was elected as a professional member of the Royal Town Planning Institute in 2008.
